Win an ITZBEEN! *Updated with Winner!*

June 1, 2008 by Pinks & Blues Girls

Ahh… it’s about time!

ITZBEEN™ Baby Care Timer was developed by a new mom and dad who found themselves sleep-deprived and needing help to remember baby care details.

So, what did they do?

They created the ITZBEEN™: a multi-purpose nursery tool that helps new parents remember the basic details of baby care. The ITZBEEN™ has four timers that count up with the touch of a button, and a host of other helpful features, all designed with the needs of a new parent in mind.

(Read our Pinks & Blues review of ITZBEEN HERE!)

Win an ITZBEEN!

*Congratulations to the winner of the ITZBEEN – Sharon G.!*

I want to win this for my sister in law. She is being induced with her first baby on Friday and has no idea what she is in store for. Her and my brother in law do not realize how sleep deprived they are going to be (they typically sleep in until 9 or 10am). So this is awesome for them!

This is SO cool. And true it is about time someone invented this!

  131. on June 4, 2008 at 4:02 am Kelly

Genius! We have notebooks full of lists of times from our son’s first weeks – nursed at this time, pooped at this time, etc. We were so worried about keeping track! This would be especially nice for moms who are having trouble breastfeeding or babies having trouble gaining weight or trying to diagnose food sensitivities or allergies or something, too, I think.

  132. on June 4, 2008 at 4:41 am Tanya Moyer

Wow – I’d love to win this for my sister-in-law who is due in Sept. I wish I had this for my 2 babies! Awesome idea! Thanks for offering this!

Can’t tell you how many times my husband and I asked each other “How long has it been since Jake had a bottle, or slept, or got changed?” With this new baby, this would be fabulous!!

Whoo! Hopefully this comes with a full instruction set, ’cause I can think of twelve or thirteen additional labels I’d want to be able to use with this — any recipe with multiple staged ingredients, working in a darkroom, many a craft project with different glues/paints and different drying/curing times… on and on!

Who would have thought in a million years a great item like this would be here in my day.. Great!! Fantastic.

  252. on June 10, 2008 at 7:05 am Gab

I had my first child in February this year and my Itzbeen is BY FAR my favourite item. It means I don’t have to remember what time I last changed my baby or fed her or how long she has slept for etc or even what time it is right now because I can just look at the Itzbeen and it lets me know. In early days, it was especially useful to use the reminder alarms to ensure over night feeds occurred on time. With my daughter a few months old, it is now really useful at night to wake up and see how long since the last feed to know whether the crying/groaning means she is hungry or just needs her pacifier. So… now I just need one for my pregnant sister…

  253. on June 10, 2008 at 9:48 pm Carla Pullum
