OK, no lie…my birthday is Halloween. This was always a big bummer as a kid because no one would come to a party on my actual birthday except my grandparents. At age 4 my mother made me wear a birthday cake costume and march in a Halloween parade. It had four of those electric Christmas candles on top…even at four I was embarrassed! Now I have kids of my own and STILL no one celebrates my birthday on the ACTUAL day beyond sticking a candle in one of their extra Halloween treats – usually one of their undesired popcorn balls! Winning this would definitely take the stong out of celebrating my 29+ birthday this year! Thanks!
